Lane Lambert Retires at Age 30

LAMBERT RETIRES AT AGE 30 AFTER 6 NHL SEASONS

After 6 seasons in the National Hockey League, Lane Lambert has announced his retirement. The right wing played for the Carolina Hurricanes, Nashville Predators, and New York Islanders during his career. He scored 58 goals and added 66 assists for 124 points in 266 games. Lambert also had a plus-minus of -14.

A native of Calgary, Alberta, Lambert was a standout player in the Western Hockey League before being drafted by the Hurricanes in the second round of the 2014 NHL Entry Draft. He made his NHL debut with the Hurricanes in 2017 and quickly established himself as a valuable bottom-six forward. Lambert was known for his hard work, penalty killing, and leadership.
